We live in Wyndmoor. Matt grew up in Chestnut Hill, went to Chestnut Hill Academy, played Chestnut Hill Fathers Club baseball, and has been part of this community since he was a boy. When we work on your home, we are working in our own neighborhood.

Matt Hitchcock, owner

Matt has worked in the trades in the Philadelphia area since 2005, starting under general contractors and learning every phase of a renovation, from demolition to finish carpentry. He founded Hitchcock Home Services in 2009 with one goal: workmanship he can stand behind and the kind of communication homeowners rarely get from a contractor.

Today a small, experienced crew handles kitchen and bathroom remodels across Montgomery County and Northwest Philadelphia, while Matt personally manages a limited number of homes for estate clients. Every project still starts with Matt walking it in person.

Hitchcock Home Services is run by Matt and his wife, Lizzie, who handles scheduling, communication and the business side so Matt and the crew can focus on the work. We are raising four kids here, and we know what it means to have people in your house for weeks at a time.
